9/12 March on Washington DC
September 3, 2009Principles Matter.

Watauga Chairman
Reality is that the Republican Party in Watauga County and across the United States has suffered some set backs in recent elections. Some in our party lost their way and have paid the price at the ballot box. Others were victims of the tsunami caused by the Obama campaign. These set backs have led some in our party to question the direction of the party.
This weekend I attended the North Carolina Republican Convention in Raleigh along with 12 other delegates from Watauga County. The race to become NCGOP Chairman had become a heated one and the convention center was packed with passionate Republicans from across the state. While I do not like to see negative campaigns within the party, it was exciting to see the enthusiasm with those in attendance.
Goss & Tarleton tell you what to do…and where to do it.
March 3, 2009

Senator Steve Goss and Representative Cullie Tarleton know (or think they do) what’s best for you. The two legislators have decided to tell Small Business Owners that they can’t smoke in their establishments. Regardless of personal freedom, these two continue to destory the rights of small business owners. Email these guys and tell them now is not the time to keep hurting small business. Watauga Victory Volunteer Meets Palin
October 29, 2008
Chris Wright second from left holds a "Country First" sign a the Sarah Palin event in Asheville last Sunday.
Watauga County Volunteer Chris Wright has been making calls for months now at the Boone Victory 2008 office. Coordinator Kevin Turner says he’s been their pretty much non-stop. So much so, that NCGOP chose Chris to meet VP candidate Gov. Sarah Palin on Sunday in Asheville. Suffering from some arm injuries, Wright was undeterred. Even though Gov. Palin was delayed several hours the crowd and Wright were ecstatic to meet her. “What a thrill”, he said. “Hard work really does pay off.”
